Helping Seniors
Literacy Education for Adults
The Next Door Program for the Homeless
Friendly Visitors: Visit a senior in their home for a social time, Time commitment: Once a week.
Volunteer Shoppers: Shop and delivery for seniors who cannot physically go to the grocery store/pharmacy. Time commitment: Once a week
Telephone Reassurance: Make calls to Seniors from our office for wellness checks. Time Commitment: One 3-hour shift/week.
CIRA Program: COVID Education and scheduling for seniors and persons with disabilities: Time Commitment: One 3-hour shift/week
Literacy Services: Teaching adults English to excel in employment, community, and higher education. Time commitment: two hours per week. A 15-hour course is required.
Next Door Center: Giving respite from the outdoors to our homeless clients with refreshments, showers and information to end homelessness. Time Commitment: Three hours/week.
